Opal must stay wet or it will dry up loose its color and crack. please soak orbeez in tap water for 6 hours or for best results overnight, before putting them in the jar and adding your opal or they will absorb the water in the jar. Make sure to soak the opals in a large bowl before adding to the jar. you only need about half the bag provided to fill the jar, save the rest for a change out.  clean water once a month and don't keep by a window to avoid mold growing in the jar.
